The city of Valencia in Spain was the host of the oldest sailing competition in the world, the 32nd edition of the America’s Cup, in 2007. The competition was experienced with intensity and put this Spanish city on the map of nautical tourism.

The new 650 berths Port America’s Cup Marina (lately renamed Marina Real Juan Carlos I) was inaugurated in 2006 to host the competition.  Following inauguration,  I was called to integrate the management and marketing  team,  one of my main duties was to  promote  the commercialization of its berths internationally.
